THE
VIEWPOINT SOLUTION
Our
program is composed of information and skills to overcome internal
conflicts and enable the mind to explore and function in new dimensions.
Our course overcomes stress by enabling and using mind-growth to
increase personal ability.
CHRONIC
STRESS
Chronic
stress should be addressed seriously.
We strongly recommend that you seek professional counseling and/or
medical assistance for chronic symptoms.
If in doubt, seek help.
Many religious organizations have competent staff to assist with
stress reduction.
Do-it-yourself coping by smoking, drinking, illegal drugs, and
over-the-counter aids can make the stress situation worse—do not be
fooled by false solutions—treat the sources instead of the symptoms.
Chronic stress can be dangerous—do not gamble.
Establish stability and then go after the roots.
STRESS
BASICS
Stress
is typically a response to conflict between situations in your life and
your ability to cope with them. The
causes and conflicts can take many forms.
Recognizing your level of stress may be difficult.
You may be aware of the damaging effects in your digestion,
excessive fatigue, poor attitude, overall health, blood pressure, work
performance, relationships, etc. Stop
and take inventory. You may
be surprised.
Dominant
negative emotions, poor people and work skills, and limited self-worth are
major building blocks for stress.
IMMEDIATE
RELIEF
The
first step in immediate stress reduction is to slow down and get off the
emotional roller coaster. Try
taking a deep breath, counting up or down slowly, walking, or whatever you
find relaxing. It is easy to
suggest changing jobs, moving, etc., but there are other viable options to
consider.
LONG
TERM ELIMINATION OF STRESS
Use
the Viewpoint principles to build new personal power and gain advantage
over your current stressful situations.
A
stronger and more capable person is going to reduce stress and enjoy
success. The question becomes
how far do you want to go? There
is probably more opportunity than you can cover in your lifetime.
