What
Are Your Reasons?
Would
you describe your life as being empty—just existing?
Why? What are your
excuses? Do you blame a lack
of money and too much work? Are
your children too demanding of your time?
If your life style stressful, or are you avoiding stress?
Or, have you settled for the path of least resistance?
Perhaps you want to claim that your life style just happened—that
you defaulted into a ‘comfortable’ routine?
Do empty life-styles promote fidelity in marriage or success in
raising children? Does just
being a taxi service or handing out money to your children give them the
benefit of your adult wisdom?
What
are your options?
Let’s
acknowledge education, better jobs, and delegating responsibilities as
obvious solutions if available. Then,
let us make some simple statements. If
you are to share with others, become someone that has more to share. Life is meant to be actively lived—not wasted.
Forget the excuses.
If
you have to work multiple jobs to survive, start using you mind to observe
and learn more about yourself and others while you work.
Become actively engaged with your children so that you can enrich
their souls instead of just feeding them.
If people around you are just existing, you be the exception.
Explore life’s details. Actively
reject the old status quo. Make
continuing self-improvement your standard.
The option to live is everywhere.
Take it.
